Shared Cost Sidewalk Program

The Shared Cost Sidewalk Program is an extremely popular voluntary program in which property owners share the cost of sidewalk repair with the City. The 2026 Shared Cost Sidewalk Program will be open for applications on Monday, January 12th, 2026.

We anticipate the program will be filled that day and is on a first come first serve basis. Applicants will be notified with final costs in a 3-4 months after surveys are complete if they would like to proceed.

Applications will be accepted through 311 (online, phone, or app) starting at 6 a.m. under the category “Shared Cost Sidewalk Program Request. Please note that requests made under the 311 category “Sidewalk Inspection Request” or any other sidewalk category are not directed to the Shared Cost program.
